Adam Thielen ($5,400)
The Adam Thielen end-of-season surge has been a revelation. The former All-Pro wideout missed seven games with a hamstring injury. The club shipped out Diontae Johnson in that span, which elevated Thielen atop the depth chart by default. Since his return, Thielen has been spectacular, finally finding some chemistry with young signal caller Bryce Young.
The veteran has amassed over 22 fantasy points in consecutive performances, generating double-digit targets in each outing. Thielen is still a smooth route runner, and he’s gotten a bit more physical on the perimeter, able to make tough grabs without much separation. He has a pair of reliable hands, which is a valuable asset in the red zone. A date with a putrid Dallas secondary should only raise Thielen’s ceiling.
Aaron Rodgers ($5,400)
Yes, you read that right. Aaron Rodgers has had a tumultuous tenure on and off the field in the Big Apple, but at times, he’s been a competent quarterback. Rodgers does seem far too conservative at times, opting to take complex, off-platform throws within 20 yards of the sticks rather than test anything downfield. His lack of mobility renders him a statue in the pocket, with almost no way to escape pressure.
If Rodgers has time, he has enough accuracy to deliver some decent strikes and generate serviceable counting stats. Last week, against a Miami defense that was starting to get hot, Rodgers tossed for 339 yards and a touchdown in a 20-point fantasy effort. Against a dreadful Jacksonville team, the four-time MVP should replicate similar production and be a sneaky great value play.
Mark Andrews ($4,100)
Not too long ago, it appeared that Mark Andrews was near the cliff. Even at 29, it looked like Baltimore’s franchise tight end didn’t have much left in the tank. He struggled to outplay Isaiah Likely, and many fantasy managers quickly cut bait. Andrews has gotten back on track and is the club’s second most prevalent receiving option.
Andrews has had at least 15 fantasy points in three of his prior four games, scoring a trio of touchdowns in that stretch. His massive frame is a weapon down near the goal line. Andrews has reasserted himself as the outlet underneath, which has helped balance out his workload. Andrews is worth making room for in your lineup at this price tag in this high-powered offense.
