Nikola Vucevic is questionable for Friday’s matchup with the Hornets due to an illness.
The Bulls center is a top 10 player for fantasy on a per-game basis, averaging 21 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.8 blocks and 0.8 steals. He’s shooting a career-high 58.7 percent from the field and 47.4 percent from downtown. That efficiency is unsustainable and regression is likely going to come.
If Vucevic is unable to go, Jalen Smith would likely get the start. Smith is averaging a respectable 1.16 FPTS per minute.
Josh Giddey has not missed a game either, but he’s also questionable with a back issue. If he’s out, then Ayo Dosunmu would likely enter the starting lineup.
Patrick Williams hasn’t played since Nov. 20, but he’s questionable for Friday and could be returning soon.
