By: Zach Thompson

As the NFL begins the final month of the regular season with the playoffs looming just four weeks away, all 32 teams are in action in Week 15. With 16 games spread throughout the weekend, the stage is set for some dramatic contests and plenty of storylines to play out over the remainder of the season.

The action begins on Thursday night with a big NFC West showdown between the Rams and 49ers in San Francisco. Both teams are coming off a win last week and trying to stay in the playoff hunt. On Sunday afternoon, 12 games make up for main DFS slates, including seven games kicking off at 1:00 p.m. ET and five in the late wave.

Sunday Night Football features another important NFC matchup between the Packers and Seahawks in Seattle, and the week closes out with a Monday night doubleheader. On ABC, the Vikings welcome the Bears in an NFC North clash while on ESPN, the Raiders welcome the Falcons to Vegas.

Each week, I’ll post the relevant info for the biggest matchups from DraftKings Sportsbook to help you find the stats and trends that matter. You can use these numbers to fill out your Week 15 betting card with single bets or combine them into an awesome parlay. Just a quick reminder before we begin: “SU” means “Straight Up,” while “ATS” stands for “Against the Spread.” Spreads used in records are taken from DraftKings Sportsbook at the kickoff of each game.

Make sure to check out our betting splits table as well, where you can see where the public is leaning in each matchup.

Throughout the week leading up to kickoff, DK Network will bring plenty of insight on NFL betting picks, NFL DFS contests, and more specific insights on player props, matchups, and strategies throughout the season.

Below are the betting trends for the top five matchups of Week 15:

All odds are provided by DraftKings Sportsbook and all odds are subject to change.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers

Relevant Records

The Rams won SU/ATS at home against the Bills last week while the 49ers won SU/ATS over the Bears. The Rams are one game ahead of the 49ers in the standings and one game behind the division-leading Seahawks. In Week 3, the Rams beat the 49ers 27-24 in their first head-to-head meeting this season.

The Rams are 20-5-1 ATS in their last 26 games in December, 9-2 ATS in their last 11 division games, and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games played on Thursday. They are also 6-2 SU in their last eight games.

The 49ers have dominated this series recently, going 9-3 SU in their last 12 against the Rams and 4-1 SU in their last five home head-to-head matchups. However, despite being 25-7 SU in their last 32 home games, the 49ers are just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 home games and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 conference games.

The over is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these teams, but the under is 6-3 in the 49ers’ last nine Thursday home games. The over and under are both 5-5 in the last 10 meetings between these teams and in the Rams’ last 10 games overall, while the over is 5-4-1 in the 49ers’ last 10.

Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions

Relevant Records

The Bills lost SU/ATS in a thriller to the Rams last week and will face another tough road test as they visit the Lions, who beat the Packers SU but did not cover last week. Buffalo is 10-3 SU/8-5 ATS this season, while the Lions are 12-1 SU/9-3-1 ATS.

The Bills are 11-1 SU in their last 12 December games and 10-1 SU in their last 11 games in Week 15. They have gone an impressive 20-5 SU in their last 25 games vs. the NFC but are only 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as the underdog. Buffalo is just 3-6 ATS in their last nine games against Detroit, but are 6-1 SU in their last seven head-to-head matchups.

The Lions are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games vs. the AFC and have won 11 consecutive games SU. They are 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games overall and 5-0 SU in their last five home games.

The under is 7-0 in the last seven games in this head-to-head series, but the over is 14-6 in the Lions’ last 20 home games on Sunday and 4-1 in the Bills’ last five games overall.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles

Relevant Records

Betting Trends

Both teams come into this regional rivalry playing very well. The Steelers beat the Browns SU/ATS last week and are 7-1 SU/ATS in their last eight games. The Eagles have won nine games in a row SU after beating the Panthers last week, although they failed to cover against Carolina.

The Steelers have not won in Philadelphia since 1965 and are 6-13 SU in their last 19 games against their in-state rival. Pittsburgh is 14-6 ATS in its last 20 road games and a very impressive 14-5 SU in its last 19 games as the underdog.

The Eagles are 5-1 SU in their last six home games and 9-0 SU in their last nine overall. They are 10-0 SU in their last 10 home games against the Steelers and 15-2 SU in their last 17 games vs. the AFC.

The over is 16-6 in the Eagles’ last 22 home games on a Sunday and 5-0 in the Steelers’ last five road games. The over is also 6-2 in the Steelers’ last eight games overall but only 2-4 in the last six games in this head-to-head matchup.

Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks

Relevant Records

Betting Trends

The Packers lost SU but won ATS last week against the Lions, while the Seahawks got a big road win SU/ATS over the Cardinals. The Seahawks lead their division while the Packers hold an NFC Wild Card spot, so this could potentially be a playoff preview.

The Packers are 7-2 SU in their last nine games overall and 6-0-1 ATS in their last seven games against the Seahawks. They are 7-0 in their last seven games as the favorite but only 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games as the road favorite. They have performed very well against the NFC West, going 12-1 ATS in their last 13 games against the division.

The Seahawks are 4-1 SU/ATS in their last five games but are just 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.

The over is 5-0 in the Seahawks’ last five games vs. the NFC North and 10-3 in the Packers’ last 13 road games. The over is also 6-0 in the Packers’ last six games in December.

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings

Relevant Records

Betting Trends

The Bears limp into this game after losing SU/ATS to the 49ers in their first game under interim head coach Thomas Brown. On the other hand, the Vikings come in off an impressive SU/ATS win over their former QB Kirk Cousins and the Falcons last week.

Chicago is only 4-9 SU/7-5-1 ATS on the season, and is 1-10 SU in its last 11 games as the underdog. The Bears are a miserable 3-21 SU in their last 24 road games and 4-18 SU in their last 22 divisional games. However, they are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games in Minnesota and 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven divisional games. The Bears are also 16-5 ATS in their last 21 Monday road games.

On the other side of this matchup, the Vikings are 11-2 SU in their last 13 games overall, but are just 5-14 ATS in their last 19 Monday games. They have won six consecutive games SU and are 6-1 SU in their last seven home games.

The over is 5-1 in the Vikings’ last six games vs. the NFC and 4-1 in the last five head-to-head games between these teams in Minnesota. However, the under is 4-2 in the Vikings’ last six games and 5-2 in the Bears’ last seven.
