Is Garrett Wilson a must-start in DFS if Davante Adams sits in Week 15?

Editor’s Note: Davante Adams was listed as a DNP due to veteran rest.

Davante Adams ($6,900) was absent from the Jets practice Thursday for an undisclosed reason and it is unclear if the receiver will be available for Sunday’s matchup with the Jaguars. If Adams sits, Garrett Wilson ($6,500) will be a terrific DFS target for all formats against this Jacksonville defense that giving up the most yards per pass in the NFL this season (7.8).

With Adams still in Las Vegas for the first six games of the season, Wilson was Aaron Rodgers’ ($5,400) clear top option, leading the Jets with a 30.3% target share, including 12 red zone targets and six targets over 20 yards. His 30.3% target share ranked fifth in the NFL during this stretch and this number is notably higher than the 25.9% target share Wilson has seen since Adams joined the Jets in Week 7.

Wilson has produced 17.6 FPTS per game when not playing alongside Adams this season and while Wilson will be popular if Adams is out, Wilson will be good chalk to embrace at his reasonable $6,500 salary, which is the lowest he has been priced on DraftKings this season.

On the DraftKings Sportsbook, New York is a three-point favorite over Jacksonville.
