Kevin Durant could make his return from injury on Friday, Dec. 13 when the Suns visit the Jazz, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The 36-year-old forward has been sidelined for three games with an ankle injury after missing seven consecutive games earlier this season.
The Suns have struggled in Duran’t absence, posting just a 1-9 record. With Durant in the lineup, Phoenix is 11-2 this season. His return would help the team drastically as the Suns hope to climb back into a playoff spot.
Charania reported that if Durant doesn’t return on Friday, he could play on Sunday, Dec. 15 at home against the Trail Blazers.
Durant is averaging 25.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game on 53.6 percent shooting from the field and 44.9 percent from three through 13 games this season.
