Is David Njoku the best TE start in DFS if he plays in Week 15?

David Njoku ($5,200) is dealing with a hamstring injury and won’t practice Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Chiefs.

The tight end ranks ninth at his position in FPTS this season and ever since Jameis Winston ($5,500) took over at quarterback, Njoku has led the team with a 22.9 percent target share, including seven red zone targets. During this span, Njoku ranks fifth amongst tight ends in target share.

This is also a plus matchup for the veteran. This season, Kansas City is giving up the most receptions (86) and most receiving yards to tight ends (1,015). Additionally, this already pass-heavy Browns offense should be forced to air it out. Cleveland is a four-point underdog against the Chiefs on the DraftKings Sportsbook, making this an elite spot for Njoku.

If he is able to get a full practice under his belt ahead of Sunday and is active without limitations, Njoku will be arguably the best tight end target on the slate at this affordable $5,200 salary.
