Here are Russell Wilson’s current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 232.5 passing yards, o/u 6.5 rushing yards, and o/u 1.5 passing touchdowns. Wilson is +650 to score a touchdown, +6500 to score 2+ touchdowns, and +2800 to score the first touchdown of the game.
Wilson has been incredible since taking over the starting quarterback role for the Steelers. The Steelers are 5-1 with Wilson at the helm, which has them at 9-3 atop the competitive AFC North. That being said, Wilson’s lone loss came against these Browns a couple of weeks ago in that memorable snow globe game in Cleveland. Wilson and the Steelers will want to avenge that loss and take down their rivals in the more comfortable environment of their home stadium.
Wilson is second in the league in passing yards per game this season, behind only Joe Burrow. Wilson is fifth among qualified quarterbacks in EPA+CPOE composite and first in CPOE. Wilson has done a great job of being incredibly efficient while also being able to hit a couple of deep shots a game to keep opposing defenses honest. Wilson should be able to do that against the Browns’ defense as well. Cleveland ranks 20th in the NFL in defensive EPA/dropback and 31st in yards per pass attempt allowed.
My favorite bet for this game is Wilson’s longest completion to be over 38.5 yards. The Browns have given up deep shots all year, allowing the fourth-most 20+ yard passes of any team in the NFL with 45. In the first game against Cleveland, Wilson hit three passes over 30 yards including a 46-yarder to Calvin Austin. George Pickens is fourth in the league in 20+ yard catches this season and alongside Austin, they are a really difficult duo to shut down. Wilson has cleared this number in four out of six games this season and should be able to do so again against Cleveland.
