Josh Allen is the MVP favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook heading into Week 14. He is having an incredible year and the Bills are among the favorites to win the Super Bowl because of him. The Bills are heading across the country to take on the Rams in a game that is pivotal to the Rams as they are in the midst of a really tight divisional race. Meanwhile, the Bills just did the Rams a huge favor by knocking off the 49ers last week in a game where Josh Allen incredibly threw for a touchdown, ran for a touchdown and caught a touchdown on that now-famous play.
The Rams’ defense has had some struggles this season and Josh Allen should find success against them on the ground and through the air. The Rams rank 23rd in defensive EPA/dropback and 24th in defensive EPA/rush. They can be beaten in both facets but Josh Allen has been a really strong runner recently so I am betting the over on his rushing yards prop of 28.5. The Rams have struggled against mobile quarterbacks this season, allowing 37 rushing yards to Jalen Hurts, 41 rushing yards to Brock Purdy and 53 rushing yards to Kyler Murray.
Allen should get a couple of designed runs called, as he does in most games, and also be able to take off when things are covered downfield. Prior to the crazy snow game in Buffalo last week, Allen had back-to-back 50+ yard rushing games against the Chiefs and Colts. He had a combined 20 carries in those two games and overall he has five games this season where he has cleared this number. Allen is showing no signs of slowing down and is in fact getting better every single week so he should keep racking up his MVP-level numbers every week, including on the ground against the Rams on Sunday.
