Guard

Stud

Ja Morant, Memphis Grizzlies at Washington Wizards ($8,600) — This is the biggest NBA DFS Sunday slate of the season. There are robust options at every position. Ja Morant in Washington is one of those plays. The Wizards work fast and hardly work at all. They are a premium DFS matchup based on their pace and poor defense. Morant scored eight points on 2-of-13 shooting on December 5th. He erased that memory on Saturday night with a triple-double at Boston (32-10-10).

Other Options — Anthony Edwards ($9,000)

Value

Dalano Banton, Portland Trail Blazers at Los Angeles Lakers ($4,500) — It’s a late-night hammer slate on Sunday. The Blazers are getting thinner with each passing day. Banton should play over 30 minutes if the injury report follows the current projection. The Lakers are one of the worst defenses in the NBA. This is not a surprise. It’s a JJ Redick team. Banton has been better than a point-per-minute player (1.2 FPPM). He’s scored over 30 DKFP in two of the last four games.

Other Options — Jaylen Wells ($3,600)

Forward

Stud

Jaren Jackson Jr., Memphis Grizzlies at Washington Wizards ($7,300) — The Wizards played their backups and beat the Nuggets on Saturday. This is still a premium matchup. The Wiz lucked out. Denver couldn’t make its threes, nor free throws. There was one exception. The big man Nikola Jokic dropped 56 points on Washington. Jackson scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds in a much tougher matchup on Saturday.

Other Options — LeBron James ($9,900)

Value

Dalton Knecht, Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers ($4,900) — The honeymoon is over. Knecht’s defense is subpar and the threes aren’t falling. A role reduction for the rookie is likely. The 23-year-old has one more chance to remain in the rotation. A matchup with the Blazers is fortunate. The possibility that LeBron James ($9,900) rests makes the situation better. It all comes down to the three and the Blazers are one of the worst three-point defenders in the NBA.

Other Options — Devin Vassell ($5,300)

Center

Stud

Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers ($10,600) — Sound the alarms. Panic mode has set in. The Lakers have lost seven of their last nine. They played with purpose on Friday but ran into the red-hot Hawks. They must beat the Blazers. LeBron James will likely sit this one out. That means Davis must beat the Blazers. A single-handed win is something Davis can do in this situation. That’s a lot of single-handed stats.

Other Options — Domantas Sabonis ($9,600)

Value

Jabari Walker, Portland Trail Blazers at Los Angeles Lakers ($3,300) — The Blazers’ front court is extremely thin. Donovan Clingan ($5,100) is out and Duop Reath ($3,000) is doubtful. Walker could see 25 to 30 minutes on Sunday. He hasn’t been very productive this season, but cheap front-court minutes are valuable in NBA DFS. The Lakers concede fantasy points in the paint (22nd vs. PF and 23rd vs. C).

Other Options — Walker Kessler ($6,700)
