Late in the third quarter of Thursday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, Brunson was hit in the lower back. He was able to remain in the game, but in the fourth quarter, he went to the locker room. There’s been no official designation of the injury as of yet.
Prior to exiting, Brunson contributed 24 points, a rebound, five assists and a steal in 27 minutes.
