This Lions’ offense is full of great skill position players, but St. Brown is still Jared Goff’s favorite target by an overwhelming margin at 92 targets. Jameson Williams has the next most at just 55.
The Packers have a solid defense, but Amon-Ra St. Brown matches up well against it. St. Brown isn’t the fastest player on the field, but he is one of the best receivers in the league at finding space and making catches underneath. The Packers rank 31st in defensive dropback success rate, meaning they are allowing teams to pick up chunk yardage and stay ahead of the sticks. That defensive style perfectly fits into St. Brown’s game, which is why he had seven catches, including one for a touchdown, against the Packers earlier this season.
My favorite prop bet for St. Brown in this game is for him to score a touchdown at odds of +100. St. Brown has nine touchdowns in his past ten games and continues to get a high amount of targets from Jared Goff. Against this bend-don’t-break Packers defense, St. Brown should be able to catch the ball underneath in space and pick up chunk yardage after the catch. That should get him into the end zone at some point in this game as the Lions look to take down their divisional rivals.
