Week 14 is the final week of the NFL Regular Season for bye weeks. The final six teams in the League are getting their week off, leaving 26 teams and 13 games on the schedule, including some key divisional games and several games that feature key matchups for the playoff race with just five weeks remaining.
The action starts on Thursday night with a pair of teams that played and won on Thanksgiving. The Packers visit the Lions in an NFC North battle with both teams pushing to make the postseason. For the third straight Sunday afternoon, there are 10 games lined up for main DFS slates including seven games in the early wave and three in the later afternoon.
On Sunday Night Football, the Chiefs host the Chargers in a juicy AFC West matchup between a pair of playoff hopefuls, and we close out the week with Monday Night Football as the Cowboys host the Bengals in a matchup of two of this season’s biggest letdowns.
Each week, I’ll post the relevant info for the biggest matchups from DraftKings Sportsbook to help you find the stats and trends that matter. You can use these numbers to fill out your Week 14 betting card with single bets or combine them into an awesome parlay. Just a quick reminder before we begin: “SU” means “Straight Up,” while “ATS” stands for “Against the Spread.” Spreads used in records are taken from DraftKings Sportsbook at the kickoff of each game.
Make sure to check out our betting splits table as well, where you can see where the public is leaning in each matchup.
Throughout the week leading up to kickoff, DK Network will bring plenty of insight on NFL betting picks, NFL DFS contests, and more specific insights on player props, matchups, and strategies throughout the season.

The Packers got a nice win SU/ATS over the Dolphins on Thanksgiving night and come into this matchup 9-3 SU/6-5-1 ATS on the season. The Lions also won on Thanksgiving but did not cover, and they’re now 11-1 SU/9-3 ATS coming into this huge divisional matchup.
The Packers are 18-2 SU in their last 20 games in December and 7-2 ATS in their last nine games as the underdog. They have also gone 5-0-1 ATS in their last six Thursday Night Football road games. However, they are only 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against the Lions.
Detroit has been very good in its last 15 matchups, with Green Bay going 12-3 ATS. The Lions are also 15-4 ATS in their last 19 divisional games and 15-4 ATS in their last 19 games overall. They have won 10 straight since losing to the Bucs in Week 2, going 6-0 SU against the NFC and 9-1 SU in their last 10 games at home. However, the Lions are just 1-7 SU in their last eight Thursday Night Football home games.
The under is 4-2 in the Packers’ last six games but 0-5 in their last five games in December. The over and under are almost perfectly split over the last 10 games for each team and in the head-to-head series, where the over is 5-4-1.

Betting Trends

The Falcons lost SU/ATS to the Chargers last week in Atlanta in a rough game for QB Kirk Cousins. This week, he’ll return to Minnesota to face his former team, the Vikings, who rallied and edged out the Cardinals last week but failed to cover. The Falcons have dropped three consecutive games SU/ATS and are 6-6 SU/5-7 ATS while the Vikings come in 10-2 SU/7-4-1 ATS.
Atlanta is 1-5 SU/ATS in its last six matchups with the Vikings, and just 5-15 SU in its last 20 road games. Mixing those two trends together, the Falcons are just 4-12 SU in their last 16 trips to Minnesota. The Falcons have also gone just 1-6 ATS in their last seven vs. the NFC North.
For the home team, the Vikings come in after five consecutive SU wins. The Vikings are just 0-6-2 ATS in their last eight December games but are 4-2 ATS in their last six Sunday home games. They’ve dominated the recent matchups with the Falcons and will look to keep pushing the Pacers and Lions at the top of their division.
The under is 7-3 in the last 10 games in this head-to-head series and 5-1 in the Vikings’ last six home games. The under is also 9-2 in the Falcons’ last 11 games in December.

The Bills came back from their bye week after knocking off the Chiefs and got another big win by besting the 49ers in a snow globe game on Sunday Night Football. They improved to 10-2 SU/8-4 ATS on the season. The Rams also got a win and are 6-6 SU/5-7 ATS after beating the Saints last week.
The Bills come into this matchup in Los Angeles on a seven-game winning streak. They are 5-1 SU/ATS in their last six games against the Rams and 7-2 SU in their last nine road games.
On the other side of this matchup, the Rams are only 1-4 ATS in their last five home games and 1-4 SU in their last five home games against the Bills. They have been trending up, though, going 5-2 SU in their last seven games and 4-2 ATS in their last six.
The under is 4-2 in the Rams’ last six games played on Sunday and 13-3 in the Bills last 16 games played in Week 14. However, the over is 5-2 in the Bills’ last seven games and 8-2 in the last 10 head-to-head matchups between these teams.

The Chargers won SU/ATS over the Falcons last week and are 8-4 SU/ATS this season. The Chiefs continue to win SU but fail to cover. They are 11-1 SU this season, but only 5-7 ATS after that scenario played out last week against the Raiders on Black Friday.
The Chargers are 0-11 SU in their last 11 games as the underdog and 3-18 SU in their last 21 games against the Chiefs. They have been trending up in general, going 5-1 SU/ATS in their last six games, but all the trends in this specific matchup against the Chiefs are not in their favor.
The Chiefs have gone 0-6 ATS in their last six games, but are 9-0 SU in their last nine games at home and 17-1 SU in their last 18 games dating back to last season. They are 7-3 SU in their last 10 home games against the Chargers, and 12-0 SU in their last 12 games as the favorite.

Each of these teams came into the season with playoff aspirations, but the season unraveled on them for a variety of reasons that merit a whole separate post (or series of posts). The Bengals are just 4-8 SU/6-6 ATS after losing SU/ATS to the Steelers last week, while the Cowboys are coming off a SU/ATS win on Thanksgiving but are still just 5-7 SU/4-8 ATS.
The Bengals are just 2-12 SU in their last 14 road games and 1-4 SU in their last five, but they are 11-2 SU in their last 13 non-conference games and 24-10 ATS in their last 34 road games.
The Cowboys are just 3-13 ATS in their last 16 Monday home games and 1-7 ATS in their last eight home games. They’re also only 3-12 ATS in their last 15 games as the underdog. They have been dominant in the recent history between these teams, going 7-1 SU in their last eight meetings and 5-0 SU in their last five home games against the Bengals.
The over is 10-4 in the Cowboys’ last 14 games overall and 16-5 in their last 21 home games. The over is also 16-5 in the Bengals’ last 21 games and 5-0 in their last five.
