Kevin Durant will miss at least one week due to an ankle injury suffered on Tuesday against the Spurs, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The 36-year-old stepped on Julian Champagnie’s foot on a drive to the rim with 4:30 left in the second quarter. He left the game 39 seconds later and did not return.
Durant is having yet another terrific year, but he’s already dealt with an injury that sidelined him for seven straight games. The 14-time All-Star is averaging 25.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 blocks per game on 53.6 percent field-goal shooting and 44.9 percent from deep.
