Don’t look now, but the Milwaukee Bucks are back. After a nightmare start to their 2024-25 campaign, the 2020-21 champions have won nine of their last ten games and have climbed to fifth place in the Eastern Conference. Head coach Doc Rivers has the Bucks firing on all cylinders, and they are looking like the dangerous threat that they have been for most of the last decade.
Amid the roller-coaster Milwaukee season, forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is quietly enjoying possibly the finest season of his Hall of Fame career. Antetokounmpo is averaging a career-high 32.7 points and 6.7 assists per game, as well as 11.7 rebounds, and shooting 61.7% from the field. He should have the opportunity to increase his averages even more at 8 p.m. ET against an Atlanta Hawks defense that ranks among the association’s worst.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Bucks (-175) are moderate favorites and the point total is set to 236. Below, I’ve highlighted my favorite prop bets centered around the Greek Freak.

Giannis Antetokounmpo to Record a Triple-Double (+550)
Let’s start with a fun long shot that isn’t as long as the odds indicate it to be. Antetokounmpo has recorded three triple-doubles so far this season, but all three have come in his past seven games. He has also tallied at least eight assists in five of his last seven as his playmaking has continued to improve. The possible injury return of small forward Khris Middleton, who could make his season debut tonight against Atlanta, would give Antetokounmpo another sharpshooter to convert his assists.
Plus, the Hawks are the exact combination of competitive and bad that should allow the Greek Freak to rack up huge counting stats. The Atlanta defense excels at basically nothing, ranking in the bottom ten in opponent points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks — so Antetokounmpo should be able to feast in all facets of the game — but the Hawks offense is so good that the game should be competitive and Antetokounmpo should play a lot of minutes.
Giannis Antetokounmpo O3.5 Turnovers (-154)
Atlanta does have one major bright spot on the defensive side of the ball. Hawks guard Dyson Daniels leads the league by a wide margin with 3.1 steals and 6.7 deflections per game, and the Great Barrier Thief should wreak havoc on Milwaukee’s ball-handlers. Antetokounmpo’s 36.9% usage rate is the third-highest of his career, and although his 3.4 turnovers per game roughly mirror his career average, they have been trending upwards in recent games. Antetokounmpo has coughed up the ball at least four times in five of his last six games.
