The Lakers continue their road trip on Wednesday by taking their talents to South Beach. There has been plenty of talk about Anthony Davis ($10,500) getting a larger role, especially late in games, and the Lakers superstar is probable for this matchup in Miami as he continues to play through plantar fasciitis in his left foot.
The Lakers are 2.5-point road underdogs and the point total for this matchup is set at just 216. Davis is always an intriguing DFS option in contests like the NBA $333K Fadeaway [$100K to 1st], and there are also some interesting props around AD this Wednesday.

Anthony Davis under 24.5 points (-105)
Davis has gone over this number in 13 of his 20 games this season, but almost all those overs were before he started dealing with his foot issue. He has struggled to put up points the last few games, finishing under 20 points in three of his last four and only reaching 25 twice in his last six games. Davis’s minutes have been managed a little more closely, lately, and he seems to be fading late in games. There may be many reasons for that, but part of it definitely could be his foot injury.
Davis’s shot was way off on Monday as he went just 4-of-14 from the field and played only 33 minutes. He’ll probably have a better shooting night in Miami, but he may still finish under 25 points, especially if Austin Reaves ($6,500; pelvis) is able to return after a two-game absence to take on more usage.
Davis obviously has the potential to go over this total, but the better play based on how things have looked on this trip is definitely the under.
Anthony Davis 12+ rebounds (-170)
If you want to bet Davis to go over a total. My favorite play is to play this ALT rebounds line. He has at least 12 rebounds in four of his last five games vs. the Heat and continues to do great work on the glass even while playing through injury.
He has at least 11 rebounds in five straight games and is averaging 11.5 rebounds per game on the year. Even if his shot is off or usage is down, he continues to get enough rebounds to make this a solid play on almost every slate.
Anthony Davis under 1.5 blocks (+130)
If you want an AD prop at plus odds, check out his blocks to be under 1.5. He has multiple blocks in just one of his last four games while playing through his injury and has only had multiple blocks against Bam Adebayo ($8,000) in one of their last three head-to-head matchups.
Davis is averaging 2.0 blocks per game but only 1.4 per game on the road. It’s a close one, but getting this at +130 makes it a good value.
