Tuesday marks another edition of the 2024 NBA Cup, giving hoops fans a jam-packed eleven-game slate. That includes Franz Wagner’s streaking Magic heading to MSG to take on the Knicks, as well as a showdown in Dallas between Luka Doncic’s Mavericks and Ja Morant’s Grizzlies. With so many big names in action, figuring out which players to back is no easy task. However, that also means there’s plenty of winning bets on the board. Here are three player props worth placing tonight.

Victor Wembanyama over 24.5 points (-120)
The Spurs are looking like a playoff-caliber team in the competitive Western Conference, jumping out to a solid 11-9 record. Much of the credit goes to an improved supporting cast that’s shared some of the scoring load with second-year phenom Victor Wembanyama. Still, the defending Rookie of the Year has been terrific this season, putting up 24.0 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists on 48.4% shooting from the field. As San Antonio’s best player, he;s commanded a team-leading 31.4% usage rate, seventh-highest in the NBA.
With so much of the Spurs’ offense still funneling through Wembanyama, the Frenchman is a daily threat to drop a 20-point double-double. Tonight’s matchup was already favorable for the young center, as he’s produced 23.0 points in three career outings against the Suns (27.8 minutes per game). Phoenix being without starting center Jusuf Nurkic only makes this point total even more enticing for the superstar big man.
Paul George over 5.5 rebounds (-115)
Not much has gone right for the 4-14 76ers, a team plagued by poor performance and a rash of injuries heading into December. Offseason pickup Paul George was expected to be the missing piece in Philadelphia’s pursuit of a title, but the former Clipper has played in just five games due to a bone bruise. After suiting up for the first time in ten days last Saturday, PG13 appears set to handle a bigger workload for a squad that desperately needs to start stacking wins.
Tuesday’s opponent, the Hornets, are incredibly vulnerable inside, with front court pieces Mark Williams, Miles Bridges and Grant Williams all injured. This season, Charlotte is giving up 53.4 rebounds to opponents, ninth-most in the NBA. George isn’t known for his rebounding skills, but he’s still nabbed 6.3 boards throughout his fifteen-year career. There’s plenty on the line tonight for Philly, so the veteran should stay on the floor long enough to clear this line.
Fred VanVleet over 2.5 three-pointers made (-105)
After a rocky start, Fred VanVleet is starting to find his groove. Over his last three games, the former All-Star is averaging 26.0 points, leading the Rockets to a 3-0 record. While FVV’s field goal percentage still leaves much to be desired (39.8%), he’s provided experience and big-play ability at point guard for a Houston team that can struggle to generate offense at times.
Key to VanVleet’s value is his shooting ability from beyond the arc. Since November 13th, the former Raptors star is nailing 3.0 three-pointers on 39% shooting (7.7 attempts). That includes Sunday’s performance against the Thunder, which saw the point guard nail five buckets from deep. The Kings are giving up the second-most threes in the association (15.2 3PM), putting VanVleet in prime position to nail this number.
