Tucker Kraft ($5,400)
There was a referendum on tight ends in the first month of the season. Passing efficiency was plummeting around the league, and everyone’s favorite position was in a massive slump as a result.
Green Bay has been one of the offenses to have a viable bounceback, and Tucker Kraft has carved out a solid role. The second-year pro has already dwarfed his production from his first campaign, establishing himself as a dominant force in the red zone.
After going through a bit of a rough patch, Kraft had a great showing on Thanksgiving against Miami, corralling six passes for 78 yards. He’s fighting for volume in a loaded pass-catching room, but his effectiveness after the catch and massive frame should always get him opportunities. If Kraft can exploit a Detroit secondary that is starting to show some cracks, his assigned salary is too cheap not to take advantage of.
Tim Patrick ($3,400)
The Tim Patrick redemption arc is starting to gain some traction. After missing the prior two seasons with injury, it was a concern Patrick would never play on Sundays again. His comeback tour in Detroit has been largely uneventful, but the veteran wideout has flashed that he has enough juice left in the tank to be optimistic.
Patrick still has solid lateral quickness and runs crisp routes that get separation. He might be the fourth receiving option, but most weeks, he seems to come through with a massive catch or two. Patrick seems like the ace up Detroit’s sleeve, a player they are ready to unlock at any point.
He’s yet to be DFS relevant this year because of a historic touchdown drought. Patrick hasn’t scored since 2021 in Week 15. What better way to snap the streak than against a vaunted NFC North foe?
