Broncos vs. Browns Predictions: Week 13 MNF NFL Picks

There’s a pair of streaks that compliment a certain angle from Week 13’s Monday Night Football matchup. Before highlighting those, we’ve got to account for the Broncos vs. Browns predictions that have already been cast.

Below, you’ll find a breakdown of the betting splits for Broncos vs. Browns based on the moneyline, spread and game total predictions that have been made.

Game splits

Moneyline

Denver (-270) is both the favorite and the popular option for MNF. However, the Broncos have only seen 75% of the moneyline handle on 85% of the moneyline bets.

There’s a sharp lean toward Cleveland here. But, things take a shift as we look toward the spread.

Spread

While the Broncos remain the popular predictions vs. the Browns here, they are also the sharp option. On 70% of the spread bets, Denver has seen 78% of the spread handle.

The movement on the spread has gone in the expected direction, bumping up from the opening 5.5 line to 6-even. With six being a significant spread number, the seemingly small 0.5 bump is important. Those backing the Broncos ATS may be better off sticking to the opening line.

Total

This is an interesting one. The over has seen 55% of the game-total bets, so it’s only slightly more popular. But those plays have accounted for a whopping 73% of the game-total handle. That’s quite a significant lean.

And the game total amount has adjusted accordingly. It opened at 40-even, then climbed up to 42-even. A dip down to 41-even followed, but the game total has since climbed back to 42-even. The over is the play, but attacking at a slightly lower number might be the better route to take.

To close things out, here are a few trends to consider before making your Broncos vs. Browns predictions:

  • In each of the last nine games that the Browns were playing as an underdog after a win, they lost the first half. In the last six instances that Cleveland was in this setting, the other team scored the game’s first touchdown. Similarly, the Browns lost the first quarter in each of the last six times they found themselves in this setting.
  • The Browns have lost the last seven games in which they were an underdog vs. the AFC West.
  • The Broncos have covered the spread in the last six games that they were favored.
  • Cortland Sutton has 70-plus receiving yards in each of his last five games. (Receiving O/U is 64.5.)
  • Javonte Williams has 41-plus rushing yards in the last four games he’s played that Denver was a home favorite. (Rushing yards O/U is 34.5.)
