Here are Jayden Daniels’ current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 214.5 passing yards, o/u 1.5 passing touchdowns and o/u 38.5 rushing yards. Daniels is +155 to score a touchdown, +1100 to score 2+ touchdowns, and +850 to score the first touchdown of the game.
Jayden Daniels is still the Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite, but is just ahead of Bo Nix in the odds now. Daniels was fantastic the first few games of the season but has trailed off the last several weeks since sustaining an injury to his ribs. Daniels has had up-and-down games lately and the Commanders have lost three-straight contests heading into this week. Meanwhile, the Titans are coming off of a massive win over the Texans, so they should be full of confidence heading into this game.
The Tennessee defense has been a solid unit this season. They are 11th in defensive EPA/play, fifth in defensive EPA/rush and 10th in defensive passing success rate. They are one of the best rushing defenses in the league and they should force Daniels to be a pocket passer which makes him a much less dangerous player. The Washington rushing attack is one of the best in the NFL, ranking fourth in offensive EPA/rush. That makes it a good battle between their rushing offense and the Tennessee rushing defense, but this should make Washington a more pass-heavy team than normal.
My favorite Jayden Daniels prop for this game is for him to go over 29.5 passing attempts. Between the injury to Daniels and halfbacks Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler (out, concussion) being banged up, this has become a more pass-heavy offense. Daniels has 32 or more passing attempts in four of his past five games after only doing that twice in his first seven games. The Commanders are growing more confident in Daniels as a passer and their run game is struggling. This is also a really tough run defense which should lead to Daniels being an aggressive passer once again, clearing this passing attempt prop.
