Nix’s attempts have seen a noticeable uptick, throwing at least 30 passes in five straight performances. That’s helped him surpass the 250-yard mark three times during that stretch as he continues to air out the rock and rapidly gain confidence.
Cleveland has a slightly worse EPA against the pass than the rush, but even so, Sean Payton has shown a desire to put the ball in Nix’s hands. Against a struggling defense, Nix should feast and clear this threshold as long as the game doesn’t get out of hand too quickly.
