The Jazz are getting some reinforcements as they host the short-handed Mavs on Saturday night. Utah will get both Lauri Markkanen ($7,400) and John Collins ($7,200) back in the mix while Dallas will likely be without both Luka Doncic ($11,000; wrist, doubtful) and Klay Thompson (foot, out).
The Jazz are 6.5-point home underdogs with the point total over/under at 231.5. Markkanen is an interesting option in DFS contests like the NBA $200K Fadeaway [$50K to 1st], and he also offers some great props to smash this Saturday night.

Lauri Markkanen under 21.5 points (-125)
Markkanen and the Jazz will be playing the Mavs for the third time this season. In the first game on Oct. 28, he shot just 4-of-15 and finished with 17 points in 35 minutes. In the rematch on Nov. 14, he played just 24 minutes while dealing with an eye injury and finished with only 13 points.
Markkanen has gone under this line in nine of his 14 games this season, although he scored at least 25 points in three of four games before taking two games off for personal reasons.
He could be eased back in a little bit after two games back since both Collins and Walker Kessler ($6,300) will be available in the frontcourt.
Since he has already fallen short of this prop twice in this matchup and in 61% of his games this season, asking him to go over this prop in his first game back seems like a stretch.
Lauri Markkanen over 2.5 Threes (-110)
If you’re looking to take back Markkanen in his return, the best spot to do so is with his three-pointers. Markkanen went 0-for-6 from long range in his last game, which was against the Spurs, but he hit at least three three-pointers in five straight games before that.
He hit two threes in 24 minutes in his last matchup with the Mavs and could have hit a third if he didn’t leave early. He also hit three threes in his first game against Dallas.
Even if he doesn’t go over his point total, he usually hits enough threes to go over this prop. Especially if Collins and Kessler do more work down low, it will allow Markkanen to get more work outside.
If you really think Markkanen will light it up and are looking for a flier play, he’s +500 to hit 5+ three-pointers, which he did last Saturday in a home win over the Knicks.
