Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistons vs. Philadelphia 76ers ($9,800) — Tobias Harris ($6,200) and Cunningham were questionable on Friday. Both played, and the Pistons easily won their NBA Cup contest. Both could rest on the back-to-back, which could open up value. Cunningham is coming into his own as the Pistons are coming home on Saturday night. The 2021 No. 1 NBA Draft Pick has scored over 50 DKFP in his last four games. He’s averaging nearly a double-double (23.5 PPG with 9.0 assists) and almost a triple-double (7.2 rebounds).

Lindy Waters III, Golden State Warriors at Phoenix Suns ($3,900) — Steph Curry ($9,500) should be back in the lineup on Saturday but that shouldn’t affect the flow of Waters. After years in the G League, Waters has earned a spot in the NBA and a starting spot since Nov. 15. Waters is playing 25-30 minutes per night and is averaging around 20 DKFP. There’s limited upside with Waters. He won’t flood the zone with DKFP but he has a high floor and provides salary savings.

Lauri Markkanen, Utah Jazz vs. Dallas Mavericks ($7,400) — A knee injury and the birth of his child took Markkanen out of the Jazz lineup. Will there be a baby bounce? Or is the Jazz superstar sleep-deprived? The Jazz have lost seven of their last eight games. That doesn’t sound great. Smooth jazz is more like smooth-brain jazz. The appeal is that Markkanen is the only player who can carry a tune, so he carries the team and scores all the fantasy points. Markkanen has yet to score a hit this season, but the opportunity is present with his minutes and usage rate.

Gary Trent Jr., Milwaukee Bucks vs. Washington Wizards ($4,100) — The Bucks have won seven of their last eight games. During that stretch, Trent transitioned from starter to leader of the second unit. He laid an egg the last time out (10.5 DKFP on 1-of-9 shooting), but in the six games prior, he averaged around 20 DKFP and nearly 30 minutes per game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Washington Wizards ($12,000) — Four-game slate or 15-game slate, Giannis is always on the top of the board. With a small Saturday night player pool, The Greek Freak is a no-brainer. Take the points and move on. Value always opens up. He’ll fit in DFS NBA lineups. On Nov. 13, Antetokounmpo nearly scored 100 DKFP. The Wizards have the worst defense in the NBA and play at the fourth-fastest pace.

Guerschon Yabusele, Philadelphia 76ers at Detroit Pistons ($5,400) — It’s the weekend. That means small slates and Yabusele selections. The journeyman center is featured in the NBA DFS Targets article every weekend and the pick always works. Yabusele isn’t just a value pick. He’s playing well and starting. On Wednesday night, he scored 38.8 DKFP in 43 minutes.
