After a few very quiet outings, Worthy ($7,400 for Showdown) has been solid as of late, scoring 16.8 FPTS vs. the Bills and then 9.1 FPTS vs. the Panthers. The rookie’s role has been very compelling during this stretch, with Worthy running a route on 73% of his team’s dropbacks and seeing a target on 18% of those routes, which is a team-best for the Chiefs and notably a better rate than Travis Kelce ($9,600). Specifically, Worthy has garnered two redzone targets and three targets greater than 20 yards, with that latter stat also being a team high.
Up next for Worthy is a division matchup with the Raiders on Friday. Las Vegas is an average defense that is giving up the 11th-fewest yards per pass this season (6.4) and when these team’s met in late October, Worthy posted a 4/37/1 receiving line (13.7 FPTS).
The Chiefs’ 27.5-point implied team total on the DraftKings Sportsbook is the second-highest of Week 13 and Worthy is a strong WR3/FLEX for Week 13. Plus, the rookie is a strong consideration for Friday’s Showdown slate and attacking Worthy to exceed his 35-receiving yard on the DraftKings Sportsbook has merit.
