Jordan Love is having a really solid season in Green Bay. The Packers are 8-3 coming into this game against Miami and Love ranks 10th in the NFL in passing yards per game. Love is also tied with Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes for sixth in the league in passing touchdowns despite playing two fewer games. That includes a run of tough defenses over his past few games including Detroit, Chicago, Houston and San Francisco.
That being said, the Miami defense is playing better as of late. It now ranks 11th in defensive EPA/play with top-12 marks against the run and the pass. The Miami offense is starting to play really well and that is in turn bolstering the defense, which now has to spend less time on the field and is in more advantageous situations. However, the Dolphins have been beating up on the likes of the Raiders and Patriots in recent weeks. When facing better offenses like Arizona and Buffalo, they gave up 28 and 30 points respectively.
My favorite Jordan Love prop bet for this game is under 32.5 passing attempts. Miami should have some relative offensive success, holding the ball for a decent amount of time. However, it should be a close game and Love won’t be required to throw at a really high rate to keep up. Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs is now in the top five in the league in rushing attempts and rushing yards. He just had his second-highest amount of carries this season against the 49ers last week and had a monster day.
Meanwhile, in the past two weeks, Love has had two of his three-lowest passing attempt totals of the season, with 23 against the 49ers and 17 against Chicago. In fact, Love has gone under 32.5 passing attempts in five of his past seven games. Green Bay should have a really balanced offense in this game and that will keep Love under 32.5 passing attempts.
