The Hornets are hosting the Heat on Wednesday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Miami is favored by 3.5 points and this game’s total is set at 218 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite LaMelo Ball prop to consider from this contest.

LaMelo Ball Over 32.5 points (-125)

Ball has been on an incredible run, scoring 35, 50 and 44 points in his last three starts. This has been a product of the Hornets being shorthanded.

Miles Bridges (knee) has missed all three of these games, Tre Mann (back) has missed two and Grant Williams has missed one. All three of these key players will be inactive again for Wednesday’s matchup with the Heat and Ball should continue to be a scoring machine.

With Bridges, Mann and Williams off the court this season, Ball’s usage has increased 7.9 percentage points to a jaw dropping 47.7% and he has averaged a whopping 40.9 points per 36 minutes. This is a ridiculous 1.13 PPM for Ball and we shouldn’t hesitate to attack this over because the Heat are in town.

Miami has dropped to 14th in defensive efficiency after ranking fifth last season and they are playing their second game in two nights after losing to the Bucks on Tuesday. Plus, Ball proved he is matchup proof on Monday, after torching the Magic and their No. 3 ranked defense for 44 points.

Plain and simple, this 32.5-point line on the DraftKings Sportsbook is just too low for Ball right now and he needs to be backed for this over Wednesday.
