Week 13 of the NFL season has arrived! Injuries have thrown a wrench into multiple receiving corps around the league, so it’s time to take a deep dive into the position with the fantasy playoffs around the corner.
Let’s break down my Week 13 start ’em, sit ’em fantasy football wide receiver picks.
Start ‘Em: Jerry Jeudy (Browns) at Broncos
It took a bit longer than expected, but Jerry Jeudy may have finally arrived.
The 25-year-old has been nothing short of stellar over Cleveland’s last four games, catching 24 of 36 targets for 379 yards and a touchdown. This week, he draws an objectively tough matchup in Denver, but it’s impossible to ignore that target share and production. Temper expectations for Jeudy, but he still carries high-end WR2 upside.
Sit ‘Em: Tank Dell (Texans) at Jaguars
It’s been a season full of ups and downs for the second-year speedster.
I was hoping that the reintroduction of Nico Collins would open up room for Dell to make the most of a likely reduced target share. That decreased role came, but his quality of opportunities did not improve. Dell saw 12 targets over Houston’s last two games — compared to 18 in his prior two — and managed to haul in seven of them. Tank has now failed to score 11 points in three straight contests.
Even with a favorable matchup in Jacksonville looming, I would leave Dell on your bench until he begins to produce at a higher rate.

Start ‘Em: D.J. Moore (Bears) at Lions
Don’t look now, but D.J Moore may be… fantasy relevant again?!
After an immensely frustrating start to the season, Chicago’s most-talented receiver has put it all together over the last two weeks. Moore was especially productive in his last outing against the Vikings, racking up 26.9 PPR points on seven receptions for 106 yards and a touchdowns.
While the matchup looks tough on paper for Chicago, the Lions actually allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing receivers. Fire up Moore as a WR2.
Sit ‘Em: Jayden Reed (Packers) vs. Dolphins
For the second straight time, Reed is my sit of the week at receiver.
Despite holding the PPR WR13 spot on the season, Green Bay’s speedster has been infuriatingly inconsistent as of late. Reed has scored double-digit points just once over his last five outings, and is now tasked with beating a Dolphins secondary that allows the second-fewest fantasy points to receiving corps. While the big play upside will always be there, I’m not trusting Reed until he shows some consistent production.
Those are my start ’em, sit ’em Week 13 fantasy football wide receiver picks! Stay tuned for more fantasy advice later this week.
