What is Malik Nabers’ value if Drew Lock starts in Week 13 vs. the Cowboys?

Tommy DeVito ($4,500) is dealing with a forearm injury and Giants’ HC Brian Daboll told the media DeVito is “not 100 percent” to play Thursday vs. the Cowboys. Making his first start of the season this past Sunday vs. the Buccaneers, DeVito completed 67.7% of his passes for 189 yards and no touchdowns or picks (10.76 FPTS). With DeVito under center, Nabers continued to see elite usage. The rookie led New York with a 30% target share and caught six of his nine targets for 64 yards vs. Tampa Bay (12.4 FPTS).

Nabers leads the entire NFL in target share this season (35.8%) and this past week was clear evidence that no matter who is playing quarterback for the Giants, the game plan is always going to be to feed Nabers.

So, even if DeVito is unable to play and Lock ($4,500) is starting this Thursday vs. the Cowboys, Nabers should continue to see terrific usage and Lock’s presence could possibly even be a boost for Nabers. In his five starts since 2021, Lock is averaging a solid 7.1 yards per pass, which is a notable upgrade from the 6.2 yards per pass DeVito has averaged in the six starts of his career.

Plus, this is an excellent matchup for Nabers, with the Cowboys allowing the second-most yards per pass this season (7.7). The rookie went off for 26.1 FPTS when he faced Dallas in Week 3 and Nabers is a must-start this week no matter who is throwing him passes.
