Jordan Addison is coming off a season-best performance in Week 12, recording eight catches for 162 yards and a touchdown in the win over Chicago. Despite the monster performance, Addison is still the 35th-ranked receiver in terms of FPTS, so is his big performance in Week 12 worthy of a start in Week 13?
I do not believe that Addison has reached WR2 territory, but I would start him in a FLEX position if needed. He has a massive ceiling, but his floor is relatively low. You have no idea what you’re going to get from Addison on a weekly basis, which is the reason for my hesitation. Two of his four best FPTS performances have come in the last two weeks, so his stock is definitely trending up, however, that still might not make him start-worthy.
Addison will be facing a Cardinals secondary that is 16th against opposing FPTS, and 20th in the NFL in terms of pass yards against. This is an above-average matchup for Addison, and coming off a game in which he received a season-high nine targets, Addison should absolutely be in your FLEX position because of his upside in this pass-happy offense.
Despite his struggles earlier in the season, find a way to get Addison in your Week 13 lineups, particularly in the FLEX position.
