Romeo Doubs ($4,600) missed his second straight practice Tuesday with a concussion and is trending toward missing Thursday’s matchup with the Dolphins. If the receiver is inactive, Dontayvion Wicks ($4,200) should see a big boost in playing time.
With Doubs inactive in Week 5 vs. the Rams, Wicks ran a route on 83% of his team’s dropbacks and he led the Packers with a 28% target share in that contest.
Wicks only finished with 4.0 FPTS that week, but he has been a great target earner this season, garnering a target on 26% of his routes. Combine his knack for targets with a likely full-time role if Doubs sits and Wicks will be a solid punt play to consider for Thursday’s three-game Thanksgiving day slate, despite this being a poor matchup with a Miami defense that is giving up the sixth-fewest yards per pass (6.1).
For the four occasions Wicks has logged over 50% of the snaps this season, he is supplying 13.5 FPTS per game.
