The Miami Heat will host the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 p.m. ET Tuesday in both teams’ third game of Emirates NBA Cup East Group B action. The Bucks are starting to turn their season around, going 7-3 in their last 10 games after a horrid 1-6 start. After failing to live up to his lofty standards in his inaugural season in Milwaukee, Lillard is producing similar stats in 2024-25.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Bucks (+114) are slight underdogs as they seek to reach .500 for the first time this season. Below, I’ve identified my best prop bet centered around Lillard.

Damian Lillard U3.5 Three-Pointers Made (-162)
The future Hall of Famer might be one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, ranking fourth with 2,647 career threes made, but unfortunately for Bucks fans, that Damian Lillard has shown no signs of coming back. This season, despite launching 8.9 attempts per game from beyond the arc, he has only hit a paltry 32.0 percent, the worst mark of his career.
Even amidst Milwaukee’s recent run of form, Lillard has taken an even bigger downturn. After returning from a three-game absence while in concussion protocols on November 18, Dame has made just eight of his 35 attempts. He has not made four threes in any contest since a blowout win against Utah on November 7.
Miami’s glacial pace won’t help Lillard launch the shots he needs in order to reach his benchmark; Erik Spoelstra’s team is just 21st in the NBA in pace this season. Although the Heat allow a fairly high number of threes, ranking 19th in both opponent attempts and makes, Milwaukee is not well-equipped to take advantage of it, as the Bucks take just the 15th-most threes per game as a team. Miami’s generally stingy defense, which ranks 11th in defensive rating and generates a high number of turnovers, will present Lillard with a significant challenge.
The Bucks and Heat always bring fireworks when they take the court, especially in the wake of Miami’s historic upset over Milwaukee in the first round of the 2023 playoffs, and you can expect much of the same on Tuesday night. Just don’t expect Lillard to be lighting it up from deep.
