The Phoenix Suns will host the Los Angeles Lakers at 10 p.m. ET Tuesday in both teams’ third game of Emirates NBA Cup West Group B action. With a 2-0 record in the group, the Lakers currently hold the pole position, and a win would go a long way towards their title defense efforts. Center Anthony Davis has been one of the best players in the NBA so far this season and is in line for another big game against the Suns.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Los Angeles is currently a +115 underdog, with the game’s point total set at 234.5. Below, I’ve identified my favorite player prop centered around The Brow.

Anthony Davis 2+ Three Pointers Made (+400)
The nine-time All-Star is at the peak of his powers in several different facets of the game, but this season he has been particularly successful from beyond the arc. Davis’ shooting struggles since joining the Lakers in 2019 have been highly-publicized, but this season, he has attempted 2.1 threes per game at a career-high 40.6 percent clip.
Davis has been on a shooting tear in the month of November, making 2+ threes in five consecutive games between Nov. 8 and 16. He has attempted at least three shots from distance in half of his games this month.
The odds are especially attractive because of Phoenix’s defensive schemes. The Suns have been particularly stingy at preventing threes, allowing the seventh-fewest attempts per game. Unfortunately for Phoenix, though, these shots have been falling at a 37.7 percent clip, the fourth-worst rate in basketball. They do allow the seventh-most open threes per game — classified as such when the nearest defender is between four and six feet away — a shot that Davis has hit at a 50 percent clip, albeit in a small sample size.
The Brow has found success so far this season against the Suns’ porous defense, racking up an efficient 32.5 points per game in two contests against Phoenix, and the Lakers have yet to lose an NBA Cup game since the tournament’s inception in 2023. Los Angeles will be especially incentivized to win tonight with the West-leading Oklahoma City Thunder coming to Crypto.com Arena on Friday for a potential group-deciding clash. With these additional stakes on the line, I expect the Lakers — and Davis especially — to come out firing tonight.
