Guard

Stud

Jared McCain, Philadelphia 76ers vs. Los Angeles Clippers ($7,100) โ€” DraftKings is reluctant to increase McCain’s salary massively. Rightfully so. McCain is a rookie. He wasn’t a lottery pick, but that appears to be a good thing in 2024. The overlooked options are balling out. Injuries opened the door onto the floor. McCain is averaging 26 PPG in his first five career starts โ€” the most by a rookie since Michael Jordan.

Other Options โ€” De’Aaron Fox ($9,400)

Value

Duncan Robinson, Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks ($4,400) โ€” Jimmy Butler ($7,400) got sick on Saturday and missed practice. He is listed as questionable. This opens up value on the four-game slate. Robinson should see an increase in minutes and usage rate. It all comes down to if his threes fall. If Butler is out, then Robinson should get extra looks.

Other Options โ€” Spencer Dinwiddie ($3,000)

Forward

Stud

Cam Thomas, Brooklyn Nets at Sacramento Kings ($6,800) โ€” The spend-up forwards don’t look great on Saturday. This seems like a spot to save. If spending is necessary, then Thomas is the best it gets. He makes for an interesting pivot in GPP Tournaments. The Nets’ leading scorer ranks inside the top 20 in Minutes+Usage. There’s always an upside, too. Thomas has chucked 109 three-point attempts this season.

Other Options โ€” RJ Barrett ($9,000)

Value

Quentin Grimes, Dallas Mavericks at Miami Heat ($4,300) โ€” Luka Doncic is out. Several Mavericks stepped up in their last game. Spencer Dinwiddie has finally started scoring points and is at the stone-cold min. Grimes isn’t much more expensive. He’s scored 28 DKFP or more in three of the last five games.

Other Options โ€” Jaime Jaquez Jr. ($5,200)

Center

Stud

Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks ($8,500) โ€” No Jimmy Buckets means buckets for Bam. Adebayo averages 40.3 DKFP on normal nights. There is a boost here. Adebayo scored 65.75 DKFP with Jimmy Butler out on Nov. 15. The matchup is another boost. The Mavs allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing centers.

Other Options โ€” Domantas Sabonis ($9,600)

Value

Guerschon Yabusele, Philadelphia 76ers vs. Los Angeles Clippers ($5,000) โ€” The journeyman has found a home. He’s found two homes: 76ers and NBS DFS weekend lineupsโ€“โ€“small slates slice standards. Yabusele doesn’t need a lower bar. He’s making the best of his inherited role. Philadelphia’s train wreck of a roster has resulted in Yabusele playing 25 to 30 minutes per night. He’s exceeded 29 DKFP in three of the last five. Yabusele entered Friday’s game with nine minutes remaining and the 76ers trailing. He closed the game and the 76ers won by 15 points. More playing time is in his future.

Other Options โ€” Chris Boucher ($4,300)
