The Spurs host the Warriors on Saturday night, as Golden State finishes a back-to-back after beating the pesky Pelicans on Friday night in NBA Emirates Cup action. The Spurs look like they’ll get Victor Wembanyama ($11,000; knee) back from a three-game absence after he was upgraded to probable after shootaround. Devin Vassell (knee) was ruled out, though, and Keldon Johnson ($5,400; hamstring) remains questionable. With Vassell out and Johnson uncertain, there should continue to be plenty of opportunities for rookie Stephon Castle ($5,300) to be a strong fantasy value option.

Castle has started each of the last nine games for the Spurs and scored double-digit points in eight straight games. He has also increased his non-scoring numbers lately, with at least five assists in five of his last six games. In his last eight games, he averaged 28.4 fantasy points in 31 minutes per game.
On Thursday against the Jazz, Castle had 18 points, six assists and 34.25 DraftKings fantasy points in 34 minutes. He took 14 shots in that game and has taken at least 11 shots in each of the games since Vassell was hurt.
With more work and a more well-established role, the Spurs should be able to get more time for Castle and Wemby together as they look to develop the two young first-round picks as the core of their future roster.
