With seven NBA matchups scheduled, there’s plenty of action to dive into on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here are my top betting picks for today’s NBA slate.

Pistons at Magic, 7 p.m. EST

Warriors at Spurs, 8:30 p.m. EST
Nuggets at Lakers, 10:30 p.m. EST
Knicks -8.5 (-112)
The Jazz are on a four-game losing streak and have struggled to find consistency, most recently squandering a big lead against the Spurs. On the other hand, the Knicks have found their rhythm, winning four straight, including a dominant 138-122 victory over the Suns.
Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns have been key contributors, with Brunson scoring 36 points and dishing 10 assists in their last game. The Knicks are clicking on all cylinders, while the Jazz remain in disarray. New York is positioned to cover the -8.5 spread.
Bucks -7.5 (-108)
After a rocky start to the season, the Bucks have found their form, winning four of their last five games. Giannis Antetokounmpo has been playing at an MVP level, recording 37 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists in yesterday’s 129-117 win over the Pacers.
The Bucks will look to carry that momentum forward as they prepare to take on the Hornets, who have also been up and down this season. The Hornets, led by LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller are coming off a thrilling overtime victory against the Pistons. Still, Milwaukee’s momentum and Giannis’ dominance position the team well to cover the -7.5 spread.
Lakers -4.5 (-108)
The Lakers will look to bounce back after a 119-118 loss to the Magic, where missed free throws down the stretch cost them the game. Despite strong performances from Anthony Davis and LeBron James, Los Angeles couldn’t close it out. Davis scored 39 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while James added 31 points and 10 rebounds.
The Nuggets, coming off a 123-120 loss to the Mavericks, are still without Aaron Gordon and face the challenge of playing on the second night of a back-to-back. Though Nikola Jokic returned from a personal absence, Denver still struggled. With the Lakers at home, they are favored to cover the -4.5 spread.
Spurs +3 (-110)
The Spurs won their last two and will look for their first three-game winning streak of the season when they face the Warriors. Despite missing Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell due to injury, San Antonio has shown resilience, with Harrison Barnes stepping up to lead the team in scoring and rebounding. However, remember that Wembanyama and Keldon Johnson are each questionable to play, while Vassell likely remains out.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have struggled in recent matchups, including close games that tested their depth. With Golden State possibly fatigued from a long stretch of games and the Spurs playing well at home, San Antonio has a strong chance to cover the +3 spread.
Jaden Ivey Over 5.5 Assists (+105)
With Cade Cunningham sidelined, Jaden Ivey will likely take on more playmaking duties for the Pistons. Ivey has recorded 6+ assists in three games this season, and with Cunningham out, he will be asked to facilitate the offense against a tough Magic team. Given the circumstances, Ivey seems in a strong position to exceed 5.5 assists in this matchup and achieve the over at +105.
