Don’t look now, but the vibes have shifted in Philadelphia. After getting off to a 2-2 start to the season following last year’s collapse, the Eagles have ripped off six consecutive wins. They are now -600 favorites to win the NFC East.
They have an excellent chance to continue building off this as they prepare to face the Rams. Los Angeles (5-5) has struggled defensively this season, ranking 22nd in points allowed and 23rd in yards given up. They especially struggle through the air, ranking 22nd in passing yards allowed, 25th in opposing passing touchdowns and 29th in net yards per pass attempt.
Philadelphia leads in the NFL in yards, ranks second in passing yards and fourth in passing touchdowns. This is a great matchup for Philadelphia with A.J. Brown set to be in line for a massive performance. This is especially the case since DeVonta Smith will be sidelined due to a hamstring injury.

The Eagles enter this game as three-point favorites and -155 on the moneyline. The Rams are considered +130 underdogs on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook with the game total set at 49 points.
A.J. Brown Prop Bet Outlook:
Brown and Smith headline the Eagles’ passing attack and each deserves more recognition as one of the NFL’s top wide receivers.
Brown has missed three games this season but has 618 yards and three touchdowns on 33 receptions. He is averaging 88.3 receiving yards per game, which ranks fourth in the NFL.
Smith will be missing his second game of the season and has 516 yards and four touchdowns on 41 receptions. He is averaging 57.3 receiving yards per game which ranks 36th in the league.
Brown’s props are set at o/u 6.5 receptions, o/u 89.5 receiving yards, o/u 29.5 yards for longest reception, and holds +100 odds for an anytime touchdown.
On the season overall, Brown is averaging 4.7 receptions and 88.3 receiving yards per game. He has recorded a catch of 30+ yards in four games and scored a touchdown in three games.
The prop market is rightfully braced for an uptick in production with a porous defense and shorthanded attack for Philadelphia. There is still value on the board, especially with how the Eagles’ offense has been cruising.
Out of the available options, Brown’s receiving yards at over 89.5 is my favorite prop bet. The three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver is a major threat whom Jalen Hurts trusts to make a big play. He has been targeted at least four times in every game and tallied five or more catches in all but one game. He has eclipsed the 89.5 receiving-yard mark in three of the seven games so far this season.
These two teams faced off last year with Brown tallying 127 receiving yards. He tallied 109 receiving yards against the Cowboys just two weeks ago who have had similar defensive struggles. Dallas ranks 31st in points allowed and 27th in yards given up, while Los Angeles is 22nd and 23rd, respectively. The Rams’ pass defense, however, ranks worse.
Look for Brown to be at the heart of the Eagles’ offensive attack. Be prepared for an uptick in targets and don’t be afraid to get involved in the alternate lines if you are feeling bold. Parlaying Brown’s receiving yard prop with an anytime touchdown holds +196 odds. If he can connect with Hurts on a long reception, you will be well on your way.
