There are some great games in Week 13 that should feature some exciting individual offensive performances. Here is how to bet on those player props on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Indiana vs. Ohio State: Kurtis Rourke 2+ Passing Touchdowns (+125)
Kurtis Rourke has been one of the best quarterbacks in the country this season. This matchup against Ohio State is undoubtedly his toughest matchup to date, but he should be up to the task. The biggest concern for Indiana in this game is whether they can compete with Ohio State in the trenches. However, Rourke should be able to hit his receivers in this game. Indiana will actually be forced to pass if they want to move the ball against Ohio State.
Rourke has 2+ passing touchdowns in four of his past five games, with 13 in total over that stretch. This is a step-up in class in terms of opposing defenses, but Rourke should be up to the task. Northwestern and Michigan are probably the two best defenses Rourke has faced and he hit this number against both of them, so getting it at plus-money is too hard to pass up. Indiana is the best passing offense in the country by EPA/pass and Rourke should put on a display in the biggest game of his career.
Minnesota vs. Penn State: Max Brosmer 206+ Passing Yards (-120)
Max Brosmer is one of the most underrated quarterbacks in the country. He has done a good job at Minnesota this season. This is a massive game for them as they look to play spoiler against Penn State. Penn State has an elite defense, but Brosmer has performed well against all competition this year. The three best defenses he has faced are Michigan, Illinois and Iowa. He cleared this number against all three of those teams.
Penn State is 5th in the country in defensive EPA/rush and 26th in defensive EPA/pass. While those passing numbers are still good, it is nearly impossible to run on the Nittany Lions. Therefore, Brosmer will have to try to push it down the field to get Penn State off their axis. There are also multiple paths to this bet cashing. Minnesota should be aggressive early and try to attack Penn State with a rowdy crowd at their back. That could lead to Brosmer racking up some yards early. However, even if Minnesota struggles early on, that means Brosmer will need to throw to get Minnesota back into the game. Either way, Brosmer should get over this number.
Kansas vs. Colorado: Devin Neal 2+ Touchdowns (+135)
Devin Neal and Jalon Daniels are one of the most formidable duos in the nation. After a bad start to the season, Kansas is becoming the giant killer in the Big 12. They have knocked off Iowa State and BYU in the past two weeks, really hurting both teams’ chances at the Big 12 Championship Game, and Colorado is in their sights next. The Buffaloes are 66th in the country in EPA/rush. They have been thrashed on the ground against the better rush offenses they have played. UCF ran for 177 yards as a team, Texas Tech’s Tahj Brooks ran for 137 yards, and Kansas State’s DJ Giddens ran for a ridiculous 182 yards.
Colorado is 93rd in the country in 20+ yard runs allowed. Devin Neal should be able to break some big runs in this game and find the end zone at the end of those runs. Kansas is 8th in the country in offensive EPA/rush, and Neal often finishes those runs off in the end zone. He has 2+ rushing touchdowns in three of his past four games, including against ranked opponents in BYU and Iowa State. He also has three receptions or more in four of his past five games, so there is a chance he breaks one loose in the passing game as well. This should be a shootout between two great offenses. Neal will find the end zone multiple times in this game.
Vanderbilt vs. LSU: Diego Pavia 50+ Rushing Yards (+100); Anytime Touchdown (-120)
Diego Pavia is one of the country’s most exciting players and has two more big games to end his season, starting with this one. LSU is actually tied with Colorado at 93rd in the country in 20+ yard runs allowed. They have been gashed on the ground this year, ranking 82nd in defensive EPA/rush. Mobile quarterbacks have particularly hurt them this year. Against LSU, LaNorris Sellers ran for 188 yards and two touchdowns, Marcel Reed ran for 62 yards and three touchdowns and Jalen Milroe ran for 185 yards and four touchdowns.
Pavia should be able to run all over this defense just like the other great mobile quarterbacks in the SEC have done. There are also a lot of question marks around the mental state of the LSU team at the moment as their season has dramatically gone downhill in recent weeks. A lack of effort could result in Pavia breaking a couple of big runs because his effort will never be less than 100%. All of those mobile quarterbacks also ran for multiple touchdowns so getting -120 odds on Pavia to just score one is a great bet. Pavia has scored a rushing touchdown in three of his past four games and that includes against Texas and South Carolina who have much better defenses than LSU. Pavia should rack up the yards on the ground and find the end zone in this game.
