The Sacramento Kings are set to face off with the Los Angeles Clippers tonight in their second matchup of the season. The Clippers got the better of the Kings in the first matchup by producing a 107-98 victory.
Sacramento enters this game with a fairly clean bill of health. Malik Monk will continue to miss time due to his ankle sprain with all other key contributors set to suit up as normal. For the Clippers, Noman Powell will miss his second straight game due to a hamstring injury while Kawhi Leonard continues to work his way back to getting healthy.
The Kings enter this game as 3.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Clippers are +136 underdogs on the moneyline with the game total set at 221 points.
As the Kings prepare to face off with the Clippers in the final matchup of tonight’s slate, here are the best Domantas Sabonis prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook:
Domantas Sabonis Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
DraftKings Sportsbook has set Domantas Sabonis’ prop lines for points (17.5), rebounds (11.5), assists (6.5), and made three-pointers (0.5). Here are the top betting options to consider:
Over 17.5 Points (-120): The point line for Domantas Sabonis is set at 17.5 points with the over favored at -120 odds and the odds for the under set at -110. So far this season the three-time All-Star has averaged 20.2 points per game. He has eclipsed 17.5 points in seven of the 13 games thus far.
Expect Ivica Zubac to be the primary matchup for Sabonis who is in the midst of a career-best year. Throughout their careers, Sabonis has averaged 17.0 points per game when facing Zubac and has recorded over 17.5 points in seven of the 14 games. Zubac has a slight advantage in height and wingspan, with there being a six-inch difference in wingspan, but the two have some similarities stylistically in how they play. Sabonis has been playing solid basketball and recorded over 17.5 points in four of the past five games. He tallied 23 points in the first matchup against the Clippers. I lean toward him scoring over here.
Over 11.5 Rebounds (-120): Sabonis’ rebounding line is set at 11.5 with the over favored at -120 odds and the odds for the under set at -110. The two-time rebounding champion is averaging 12.5 rebounds per game on the season and has recorded over 11.5 rebounds in nine of the 13 games he has played. Sabonis tallied 12 rebounds in the first matchup with the Clippers.
Across the 14 matchups with Zubac throughout his career, Sabonis has averaged 11.4 rebounds including logging 47 rebounds across the past three games. Zubac and Sabonis rank second and third in rebounding across the entire NBA on the season. Zubac is averaging 12.4 rebounds per game. This will be a tough battle between this pair of elite rebounders, but getting this line at 11.5 is intriguing value. Sabonis has seen his prop set at 12.5 and 13.5 in most games and the matchup with Zubac is impacting this. While it will be a tough battle between the two big men, there is some value in getting the number at 11.5 and taking the over.
Over 6.5 Assists (+110): The assist prop for Sabonis is set at 6.5 with the under-favored at -142 odds and the odds for the over set at +110. After averaging 8.2 assists last year and 7.3 the season before, Sabonis has taken a step back this year and is averaging 6.6 assists per game.
Sabonis also has been limited as a playmaker when matching up with Zubac. The Lithuanian has been held to 5.5 assists and has only recorded over 6.5 assists in four of the 14 matchups. He has especially struggled as a playmaker in recent games and only recorded over 6.5 assists in one of the past five games. While the odds of the under at -142 are steep, this is the most confident I am in the available betting options.
Over 0.5 Made Three-Pointers (+105): The three-point line for Saboins is set at 0.5 with the under-favored at -135 odds and the odds for the over set at +105. Sabonis has not been known for his perimeter ability throughout his career, making 257 total three-pointers across his 589 games played. However, he is tied for a career-high 2.3 three-point attempts per game this season and is averaging 0.9 made three-pointers. He is shooting 40.0% from beyond the arc on the season.
Looking at this season overall, Sabonis has made at least one three-pointer in seven of the first 13 games- including making three three-pointers in two separate games. He has only made a three-pointer in four of the 14 matchups with Zubac with the most recent coming in 2023. While this is a bit of a risk, I like Sabonis to knock down a deep shot tonight. Expect Zubac’s rim protection to play a factor and for the Kings to have Sabonis drift to the perimeter to space the floor. Taking the +105 odds is worth a swing.
Over 35.5 Combined Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-125): One of the appealing factors of Domantas Sabonis’ style of play is how he can impact the stat sheet in all areas. One way to capitalize on this is by betting on the combined points, rebounds, and assists total. For this matchup, the line is set at 35.5 with the over-favored at -125 odds and the odds for the under set at -105. On the season, Sabonis has averaged 20.2 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game. He has recorded over 35.5 combined points, rebounds, and assists in 10 of the 13 games.
You also can check out Sabonis’ odds of a double-double at -285 odds and for a triple-double at +700. Sabonis has tallied a double-double in 12 of the 13 games so far this season and recorded three triple-doubles.
Futures Outlook: The Kings currently sit in 11th place in the Western Conference and hold -150 odds of making the playoffs. They also hold +105 odds of participating in the Play-in Tournament. Sacramento is considered title longshots as they hold +3000 odds of winning the Western Conference, tied for the 10th-best, and +8000 odds of winning the championship, 19th-best. Domantas Sabonis holds +15000 odds of winning MVP on the season which ranks 18th in the NBA.
