After missing practice on Wednesday, it was reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania on Thursday morning that Luka Doncic will miss some time with a wrist ailment. Doncic is expected to be re-evaluated in a week.
Luka Doncic is in the midst of yet another fantastic campaign, averaging 28.1 points, 7.6 assists and 7.6 rebounds per contest. His 33.6% usage rate is the highest mark of any player in the Western Conference, so his absence will obviously have some serious ripple effects on the Mavericks’ roster. With Doncic off the floor in 2024-25, it’s actually Daniel Gafford that leads Dallas with a 31.3% usage rate, but the big man is closely followed by Kyrie Irving. The former All-Star guard is producing 1.30 fantasy points per minute logged with Doncic on the bench.
