Here are George Pickens’ current prop bet odds at DraftKings Sportsbook: o/u 4.5 receptions and o/u 55.5 receiving yards. Pickens is +195 to score a touchdown, +1600 to score 2+ touchdowns and +800 to score the first touchdown of the game.
Pickens has emerged as a superstar at wide receiver over the past few weeks. He is now fourth in the league in receiving yards behind only Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb. Since Russell Wilson took over as starting quarterback, Pickens has been out of this world. He is averaging 91.25 yards per game over that four-game stretch, including 89 yards on eight catches last week against Baltimore.
Where Pickens has really excelled in this new offense is being a deep threat for Wilson. Wilson has always thrived throwing the deep ball and Pickens’ combination of size, speed and hands makes him the perfect target for Wilson. In all four games with Wilson at QB, Pickens has had a catch of at least 37 yards. His longest reception prop for this game is o/u 24.5, a number he has cleared in eight out of 10 games this season. I have bet on Pickens to go over his longest reception prop each of the last two weeks and I am going back to the well again this week.
This Browns defense is far from perfect despite having a lot of the same personnel from formerly elite defenses. They rank 16th in EPA/dropback and 26th in yards per pass attempt allowed. Just in the last two weeks, the Browns allowed a 71-yard touchdown pass against the Saints and a 66-yard touchdown pass against the Chargers. Overall, they have given up 36 passing plays of 20+ yards, the fourth-most in the NFL. This secondary has been susceptible to explosive plays and Pickens has been delivering explosive plays every week. Pickens should clear his longest reception prop of 24.5 yards for the sixth straight week.
