The bar is extremely low for Kelce to cross in Week 12. However, even with the low output, Kelce has been targeted on 29% of his routes since Week 4. Now. he’ll face a Panthers defense that’s allowed the most touchdowns and ninth-most receiving yards to the position. The Panthers have also allowed the highest passer rating to opposing tight ends.
Patrick Mahomes should have plenty of time to throw in this matchup, as he’s completing 77% of his pass attempts with a clean pocket. The Panthers aren’t generating pressure, doing so at the second-lowest rate. Kelce currently has 10 red zone targets, which is the highest on the team. Kareem Hunt is next in line with seven. Don’t shy away from Kelce in Week 12 after the dud he produced last week against the Bills.
