Powell injured his hamstring during the first half of Monday’s game against the Golden State Warriors. He did return for the second half, but ended up playing a season-low 26 minutes.
Unfortunately, the injury is more severe than initially believed as he is out for Wednesday’s game and will miss Friday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. The Clippers then embark on a four-game road trip that starts in Philadelphia on Sunday. After that, it’s the Boston Celtics on Monday, the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, then the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. Powell’s availability has yet to be determined for the road trip.

The 31-year-old is enjoying a career-best season in year 10 with averages of 23.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. Powell is also shooting a scorching 48.7% from beyond the arc.
