PG T.J. McConnell, Indiana Pacers at Houston Rockets, $4,800
We’re going back to the McConnell well. The veteran guard no longer leads the Pacers in usage rate, as he did on Monday, but his 23.3% figure only trails Bennedict Mathurin ($6,700). McConnell also ranks first among all Indiana players with over 100 minutes logged in 2024-25 in fantasy points per minute (1.13). In short, he’s an amazing fantasy asset so long as he gets the opportunity. That shouldn’t be an issue tonight. With Andrew Nembhard (knee), Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Ben Sheppard (oblique) all sidelined during the Pacers’ loss to the Raptors, McConnell played 26.5 minutes, registered 34.25 FPTS and dished out a team-high seven assists. I’d expect him to be utilized in a similar role on Wednesday versus the Rockets.
PG/SG Cason Wallace, Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Portland Trail Blazers, $4,000
Wallace hasn’t been the most efficient DFS asset in the world, but it’s hard not to be bullish on the former first-round pick after his performance last night. It did come in a shocking loss to the Spurs, but Wallace logged a season-high 33.4 minutes and produced 30.75 DKFP — another season-best. Wallace is only averaging 7.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in his seven starts, yet this should be a pretty decent matchup against the Blazers. While Portland’s defense is relatively middle of the pack, both the Blazers (100.6) and the Thunder (101.1) rank inside the league’s top 10 in pace. That will likely make for an uptempo environment that’ll benefit everyone’s counting stats.
PF/C Oso Ighodaro, Phoenix Suns vs. New York Knicks, $3,900
With Jusuf Nurkic ($6,200; ankle) sidelined on Monday, Ighodaro drew his first-career NBA start. He did not disappoint with the added responsibility. The rookie registered 12 points, seven rebounds and 27.25 FPTS in his 32.2 minutes and, despite that production, his price tag is only up $500 in the last 48 hours. You don’t have to overthink this one. If Nurkic is ruled out again against the Knicks — he’s currently listed as questionable — Ighodaro is obviously viable at his reduced salary. It also doesn’t hurt that New York is decimated by injuries on the interior.
