The Bengals get another primetime matchup after a monstrous offensive performance during last week’s Thursday Night Football game. Cincinnati just barely lost that outing to the Ravens and will attempt for redemption against the Chargers in Week 11.
Both teams are vying for the a spot in the AFC playoffs with the Chargers holding a wild card at 6-3 and the Bengals sitting just outside at 4-6.
The Chargers enter this game as 1.5-point favorites and -122 on the moneyline. The Bengals are considered +102 underdogs on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook with the game total set at 48 points.
Ja’Marr Chase Prop Bets
DraftKings Sportsbook has Ja’Marr Chase’s props set at o/u 6.5 receptions, o/u 74.5 receiving yards and -105 for an anytime touchdown.
While the Bengals aren’t having the most successful season thus far, Chase has been excellent. He leads the NFL with 66 receptions, 10 receiving touchdowns and 981 receiving yards. Part of his league-leading statistics stems from his outstanding performance against the Ravens last week in which he tallied 264 yards and three touchdowns on 11 receptions.
Don’t expect Chase to replicate this against a stingy Chargers defense, but he should remain a lethal target in the Bengals’ passing game. Cincinnati has recorded the most passing touchdowns this season to go along with the fourth most passing yards. Chase has and will continue to benefit from this.
Los Angeles does pose a notable threat, however. The Chargers allow the least amount of points per game at 13.1 — three points lower than second place. They also have allowed the ninth fewest passing yards and eighth fewest passing touchdowns this season.
It’s two strong units on a collision course, but Chase should get the better of the Los Angeles squad. The fourth-year wide receiver has caught at least one touchdown in six of his 10 games this season. He’s also caught multiple touchdowns in three games this season.
Yards may be hard to come by with this tough Chargers defense, but Chase has made it a habit to find the end zone each week. He’s the Bengals No. 1 option, so he’ll get plenty of targets even against a hard matchup.
Take Chase’s anytime touchdown prop for Week 11’s Sunday Night Football match. Chase’s line for two touchdowns is set at +600, but one anytime touchdown is the far better play.
