It’s hard to figure out the primary catalyst for Hall’s descent. He still flashes the homerun ability that made him a superstar at Iowa State and one of the league’s most promising backs. The run blocking up front has been clearly substandard, but Hall hasn’t been able to shed contact like throughout his first two years. Almost everything has gone wrong for this Jets team, so at some point, there has to be a glimmer of hope.
Indianapolis has a feisty front seven, but the defense has had trouble bottling up premier rushers. The only chance this offense has of getting going is establishing the run and feeding Hall the rock. He’s only crossed the century mark once this season, which is inconceivable. Hall is too special to continue this downward trajectory and is overdue for a dominant showing. Paired with the tremendous value, this is a line I’m all over.
