The Cowboys limp into their Monday Night Football matchup with their in-state rivals the Houston Texans. They’ve lost four straight and will be without Dak Prescott (hamstring) for the rest of the year, turning to Cooper Rush ($8,000) under center. To add injury to injury, CeeDee Lamb ($10,800 in Showdown) popped up on the injury report as questionable with a back injury. Here’s the latest:
The latest on CeeDee Lamb
Lamb suffered an AC joint sprain in Week 9 vs. the Falcons when Dak was hurt, and he was limited in practice last week even though he avoided an injury designation. This is a new injury, though, that first became an issue this week, according to coach Mike McCarthy.
Mike McCarthy said CeeDee Lamb's back issue popped up in 7 on 7 drills but he said, "I'm not of high concern," regarding his availability Monday.

Lamb may not push too hard to play through the injury since the Cowboys don’t have as much to play for, but he’s usually a player that loves the Monday Night Football spotlight and delivers big games on the big stage.
Lamb is in a good matchup if he plays since the Texans have allowed 15 WR touchdowns in their ten games this season and at least nine wide receiver catches in four of the last five weeks.
His upside is limited with Rush at QB, but I still see Lamb as a fringe top-ten option with touchdown-dependent upside this week. He had 10 targets last week in Rush’s start racking up six catches for only 21 yards. He would have had a touchdown too, if the sun had stayed out of his way.
With Rush, Lamb should still get plenty of catches and red zone looks but won’t get the same air yards or yardage totals he’s used to with Dak.
The Bottom Line
Back issues can be tricky, so you’ll definitely want to check back for updates and have a pivot plan in place if Lamb is a regular starter for your fantasy team.
The Cowboys are seven-point underdogs coming into this Monday Night Football matchup. Lamb is +200 to score a touchdown and +130 to get 70 yards.
