With the fantasy playoffs looming, it’s crucial to get any possible edge over the competition. Every game just means more at this point of the season.
Whether you’re scouring your redraft league’s waiver wire or looking for a cheap DraftKings DFS option, here are some fantasy football sleepers who could help you win your matchup in Week 11.
TE Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills ($3,500)
What happens when a starter goes down? Call the next man up.
Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) is out for Week 11 versus the Chiefs. That means Dawson Knox is in line to start as Buffalo’s TE1 in this matchup between AFC favorites.
Knox has shown rapport with quarterback Josh Allen in the past. In 2021, he finished as the overall TE8, then followed it up with an overall TE14 finish in 2022. Though he hasn’t reached the same production ever since Kincaid came to town last season, Knox is an experienced pass catcher and proved himself to be one of Allen’s favorite red-zone targets as a starter. At this price point, you get a guy who’s been a proven producer, with an established QB connection, in what should be a very close game.
WR Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens ($4,600)
At long last, after what feels like a thousand-year wait, Rashod Bateman has officially arrived.
Bateman was a first-round draft pick in 2021. While never particularly productive in fantasy football, it was typically a matter of injuries rather than talent which held him back.
This season, Bateman has appeared in all 10 of his team’s games, with an average of 10.8 points per contest. He’s been a beneficiary of this elite Ravens offense and typically receives a couple of deep shots each game. When he and Lamar Jackson connect, fantasy points follow. His best fantasy performances this season have included 25.1, 17.4, 15.8, 11.8, and 11.1-point outings. He delivers FLEX value with some upside, especially at this price point.
WR Elijah Moore, Cleveland Browns ($4,300)
Does anyone remember the Elijah Moore hype train after that stretch he had as a New York Jet? That was a fun time, but it was sadly short-lived.
The 24-year-old has never delivered consistent fantasy value, with only a handful of truly difference-making weeks to his name. However, as the adage goes, “twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern.”
Moore received a staggering 12 targets in Week 8 against the Ravens and scored 16.5 fantasy points. He then saw nine targets in Week 9 against the Chargers, which he turned into a measly 5.8 points. Moore and the Browns were on a bye last week, but he’s seen surprisingly high target volume over his previous two appearances. If you’re punting on a WR or FLEX, consider chasing this recent volume as Cleveland takes on the Saints, who rank 29th in passing yards allowed per game.
