Jameson Williams ($5,800)
When Jameson Williams is on the field, few receivers in the league are more electrifying. The Alabama product has been unable to stay out of his own way—suspensions and injuries hindering his development as a pro. He’s a premier vertical threat with unreal acceleration skills on the outside. He’s the modern DeSean Jackson, who can flip a game on its head in the blink of an eye.
In his first game back in the lineup, Williams snagged three passes for 53 yards. If he can regain the momentum from the start of the campaign, he’s a clear-cut second option who will generate plenty of looks deep down the sidelines. Jacksonville has been susceptible to giving up chunk plays, and that’s precisely what the 23-year-old feasts off of. He’s a feast-or-famine option, but this is the best club in football when he’s involved.
Cedric Tillman ($5,300)
Opportunity is the premier catalyst for success. Cedric Tillman had a forgettable rookie campaign after being an elite collegiate wideout. With Jameis Winston providing more respectable quarterback play in Cleveland, Tillman has emerged as a potential emerging star.
Tillman has at least eight targets and 75 yards in three consecutive contests. He’s a smooth route runner who is getting open at a consistent clip. On an offense sorely lacking a spark, he’s the only skill-position player consistently making things happen.
He gets a matchup with a New Orleans defense with an EPA below the league average. His share of touches warrants consistent DFS looks until further notice.
Tucker Kraft ($4,400)
After a disastrous start to the season, tight ends have enjoyed a mini-fantasy renaissance. In his second year, Tucker Kraft is a viable starter and a monster in the red zone. He’s crossed the goalline five times in six games and is a mismatch for almost any safety in the NFL.
Kraft does most of his work after the catch and barreling through defenders to fight for extra yardage. If this aerial attack wants to get back to being dangerous, it needs to better utilize his 6’5″ frame up the seam. A divisional matchup with Chicago always brings the best out of the Green Bay offense, and I like Kraft to play a pivotal role in the crucial showdown.
