Collin Sexton ($5,800)
Coach Will Hardy is attempting to right the ship in Utah. After a 0-6 start, his club is 3-2 in its last five contests, with combo guard Collin Sexton being a catalyst for the brief turnaround. He’s shooting 39% from distance on limited efficiency, but most of his work comes near the rim. He has a lightning-quick first step and has the strength to finish through contact.
He’s shooting just 38% from three-to-ten feet, which has desperately hurt his bottom line. If the midrange jumper and floater start to find the bottom of the basket, the scoring output immediately takes a leap. He needs to be a more willing passer, hovering around three assists a night, but his role is to get shots up and score points in a hurry.
A date with San Antonio is a scary proposition, with Victor Wembanyama patrolling the paint, but Sexton is intelligent enough to pick his spots.
Trey Murphy III ($5,600)

After a campaign ravaged by injuries, New Orleans is finally starting to get some reinforcements. Trey Murphy III is a marksman from downtown, a career 39% shooter from beyond the arc. He can do more than catch and launch triples. Murphy III is a master at navigating screens off the ball or quickly sprinting toward his spots in transition. Creating his own offense has been a weak spot since turning pro, but it’s a much-improved part of his game.
Zion Williamson is on the shelf with a lingering hamstring injury—the same issue that sidelined Murphy III to start the season. Since returning to the lineup, the former first-round pick has struggled with his jumper. If he can find his stroke, a fourth-year breakout feels imminent. His skillset translates perfectly to the modern NBA, and he will be the second option on offense until Williamson returns. This value is too great to pass up, and it’s wise to buy low before he hits his stride.
