There are some exciting games in Week 12 that should feature some electric individual offensive performances. Here is how to bet on their player props on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Texas at Arkansas: Quinn Ewers 300+ Passing Yards (+100); Isaiah Bond Anytime Touchdown (+105)
Quinn Ewers had been a bit shaky since returning from injury until last week’s game against Florida. After losing to Georgia and throwing multiple interceptions against Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, Ewers lit up the Gators for 333 passing yards and five touchdowns. With one loss, Texas will move to the playoff bubble if they lose another game. They still have Texas A&M and potentially the SEC Championship Game on the horizon so they will need to stay locked in and get style points where they can.
The Arkansas defense is 121st in EPA/pass. The secondary has major issues which Jaxson Dart and Ole Miss exploited in their last game. Dart threw for an absurd 515 passing yards and six touchdowns. It will be hard to replicate that level of dominance but there is a real chance that Ewers just lights this secondary up. Ewers has had his two highest passing yards totals of the season the past two weeks and he should look to hit Isaiah Bond who has also been rolling since returning from injury.
Bond played very limited snaps against Oklahoma but has scored a touchdown in each of his past two games. He even had a 44-yard carry on a reverse last week, proving that Steve Sarkisian is trying to get the ball in his hands by any means necessary. Ewers should have a big game and find Bond for a touchdown to cash these props.
South Carolina vs. Missouri: LaNorris Sellers 206+ Passing Yards (-120); Raheim ‘Rocket’ Sanders 90+ Rushing Yards (+100)
There are few teams in the country playing better than South Carolina at the moment. Their defense has been elite all season but freshman QB LaNorris Sellers has improved tremendously as the season has gone on and both Sellers and RB Rocket Sanders have gotten healthy after being injured earlier in the year. Sellers has had his two best passing performances of the season the past two weeks and his three best in three of the past four weeks. He has thrown for 238+ passing yards against Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Alabama. OC Dowell Loggains has found the perfect balance by using their power run game to set up the passing game for Sellers.
Rocket Sanders has returned to his old form in the past couple of weeks. Since getting healthy, he has been dominating opposing defenses. In the past two weeks, he has combined for 270 rushing yards, 144 receiving yards and five total touchdowns. This is a massively important game for South Carolina as they look to keep pushing up the CFP rankings with a win over another ranked team. Sanders should see a lot of action here and hit 100 rushing yards for the third straight game.
Ohio State at Northwestern: Will Howard Anytime Touchdown (+100)
Will Howard has always been dangerous with his legs inside the red zone. He doesn’t have great speed but he is a power running quarterback that isn’t afraid to take off when he sees the end zone. Ohio State has also called designed runs for Howard this year which have led to touchdowns. Overall, Howard has a rushing touchdown in six out of nine games this season. In two of those games that he didn’t score, Penn State and Nebraska, he was facing arguably the two best defensive lines on his schedule.
In this game against an inferior Northwestern team, Ohio State should get a lot of scoring opportunities. Northwestern will also have to commit a lot of bodies to cover the Ohio State receivers in the red zone. That could set up the lane that Will Howard needs to take off against slow defensive linemen and get into the end zone. Ohio State has also shown a willingness to use Howard on designed runs in short-yardage situations by the goal line. There are plenty of paths that lead to Howard picking up a rushing touchdown in this game.
Kansas at BYU: Jalon Daniels Anytime Touchdown (+115)
Jalon Daniels and Kansas have really rounded into form in the last couple of weeks. Daniels looks much healthier than he was earlier in the season and is getting it done with his legs. He has scored a rushing touchdown in each of his past four games. In the past two weeks against two ranked teams, Daniels had his two highest rushing attempt totals of the season with 15 and 12 carries in the two games. Kansas is showing that they want to use Daniels’ legs late in the season to try to knock off these ranked opponents, BYU being the next target.
BYU’s defense is a tale of two massively different statistics. Against the pass, they are 18th in the country by EPA/pass. Meanwhile, they are 106th in the country in EPA/rush. They have been gashed on the ground all year and that includes against running quarterbacks like Daniels. Kansas State’s Avery Johnson ran for 74 yards, Utah’s Brandon Rose ran for 55 yards, Oklahoma State’s Garret Rangel ran for 77 yards and Baylor’s Sawyer Robertson picked up a rushing touchdown. Daniels should exploit BYU with his legs and get into the end zone for the fifth straight game.
