Fantasy Basketball Value Picks: Top DraftKings NBA DFS Bargain Plays for November 14

Injuries and ever-changing rotations are the only guarantee in the NBA, which makes finding value in DFS contests a difficult task. Yet, if you look close enough, there’s plenty of hidden gems available to slot into your lineups. Here are two players from Thursday’s one-game slate that are being slept on.

PF/C Kyle Filipowski, Utah Jazz vs. DAL ($7,200)

Figuring out Utah’s rotations has been a headache ever since Will Hardy was named head coach two years ago. A good performance is no guarantee that a player will receive more than 15 minutes the following night. That’s especially true for an unproven rookie like Kyle Filipowski, who has seen his workload fluctuate between four and 25 minutes in just the past week.

However, the Duke product appears to be earning some trust. He’s played more than 20 minutes in two straight games, totaling more than 25 DK fantasy points in each contest. If Filipowski is able to play around half of the game tonight, he’s got a decent chance at delivering as the final player in DFS lineups.

SF/PF Naji Marshall, Dallas Mavericks vs. UTA ($6,900)

With P.J. Washington still sidelined due to a knee sprain, it looks like Naji Marshall will start his fifth straight game for the Mavericks. Dallas signed the former Pelican to a three-year deal this offseason, and he’s been as advertised. While his numbers don’t jump off the page (7.5 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 2.6 APG), the five-year veteran has been a terrific two-way presence on a team filled with offensively-minded scorers.

Since entering the starting lineup on November 6th, Marshall has averaged 10.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 steals. A similar stat line against the Jazz, owners of the league’s fourth-worst defensive rating (118.4), is more than likely. If you’re looking for dependable production from a role player, Marshall is your best bet on Thursday.
